1 pinch = 1/8 teaspoon

2 cups granulated sugar = 1 pound
5 large eggs = 1 cup
8 - 10 egg whites = 1 cup
13 - 14 egg yolks = 1 cup
2 tablespoons butter = 1 ounce
1/2 cup solid butter - 1/4 lb.
1 cup solid butter = 1/2 lb.
2 cups solid butter = 1 lb.
1 sq. baking chocolate = 1 ounce

#2 (20-oz.) can = 2 1/2 cups
